Rental Program Frequently Asked Questions

Our Rental program offers 2 models: the Gnaraloo Beach Cruiser soft surfboard in 4 sizes and the Modern Surfboards Falcon, in TMWR Tech construction, in 3 sizes.

Boards are available for rent for up to 7 days.

Yes! For a small fee we can arrange delivery and pickup. Once you have placed you order please call 1300 857 791 to organise.

If a surfboard is damaged while under your care we will assess it once returned and you will be charged for the cost of repair. If a Surfboard is broken or damaged beyond repair, you be liable for further costs for the replacement of the board as outlined in Global Surf industries Australia Rental Program Booking policy.

If you are late returning a board you will be charged a late return fee.

Unfortunately not - all Global Surf Industries rental boards are for use within a 50km radius of our Brookvale showroom.

If a board is stolen while under your care - you are responsible for appropriately reporting the incident to the Police. As outlined in the Rental program booking policy, you will also be subject to further charges for the full replacement cost of the board and/or fins and other equipment rented from Global Surf Industries Australia.

All of our rental boards are are waxed and ready to go with leash and board bag. The Beach Cruiser comes with a Fino Fin Set while the Falcon come with Futures F6 fins, you are welcome to use your favourite Futures fins.

We don't take a deposit but we do require that you leave your credit card details with us.

Credit card details will be deleted once the board has been returned and assessed for damages.

Yes, you are required to provide a valid Drivers License or Passport number when picking up your board.

If you are under 18 and do not possess valid ID, you will need a parent or guardian to provide their ID. Unfortunately we have to be strict on this requirement - no ID, no demo!
