The Adventure Paddleboarding Sixty Forty Stand Up Paddleboard is designed for 60% surf use and 40% flat water paddling. This dual-purpose hybrid SUP is a great option for the cross-training enthusiast who likes to transfer from the surf to flat water without missing a beat.
OUTLINE: The relatively full outline and generous width though the mid zone provides exceptional stability during flat water excursions. Plenty of curve along the rail line maximises turning performance, and a pulled-in tail allows the board to pivot smoothly in the surf.
ROCKER: The rocker is designed primarily for the surf with a little extra lift in the nose and tail compared to the Adventure Paddleboarding Fifty Fifty, so it fits nicely with the curve of the wave and also makes turning easy. A relaxed section through the middle helps maintain flow and forward acceleration in flat water.
VOLUME: While most of the volume resides through the mid-section, the nose and tail have been foiled to enhance turning sensitivity. Soft, high volume rails provide exceptional stability and are very forgiving when pivoting off the tail.
FEATURES: Comfortable cavity handle for convenient transportation, soft deck traction with integrated arch bar and tail kick. Additional nose plugs for creating a forward storage zone, plus a bonus nose plug for mounting a GoPro.
PERFORMANCE: The subtle displacement hull reduces slapping in bumpier surf conditions, single concave through the middle maintains down-the-line speed, and double concave vee out the tail enhances rail-to-rail sensitivity. Representing great value for money in our Molded Epoxy (MX) construction, this cross-training SUP offers the perfect mix of fun and fitness.
Molded Epoxy (MX) construction delivers structural integrity through the high pressure molding of multiple components. The components being; a medium density EPS core, 5 layers of Fiberglass (3 x deck, 2 x bottom) and a special epoxy resin that’s mixed with carbon strands. Encapsulating the whole board, and forming an outer skin that bonds through to the core, this combination of materials is fused together for over 4 hours under constant heat and pressure. The result is a very durable, well weighted board, and the high pressure molding process ensures that each board is identical to our specifications. Great service

Product arrived in new condition and as advertised. I was concerned about buying an SUP and having it delivered (being such a bulky item) but it was well packed to ensure it wasn't damaged in transit. The customer service team addressed my concerns well and were very helpful answering any queries I had (concerning delivery and what type of fins and rail tape to use). Thank you.

The board is perfect for use in the ocean, inlet and bay. The whole family uses the board. We often have more than one person on the board, sometimes three kids (5,8 and 10) and an adult - the board handles this perfectly. The 8 and 10 year old can paddle the board easily along with the two adults. It is easy to use and very enjoyable.

What an awesome board. Not only do they come in great colours but this board is just what you need. Easy to operate and nice and stable on the water. My daughter who is 6 tried it out and she loved it. Definitely worth every penny

It’s all in the name! This has been a great part timer board for me, plenty of volume and paddle power but also nimble and responsive in the surf. The kids have given it a good workout on the flats too, it’s been a safe and stable board for them to develop water confidence.
Great fit and finish, and solidly put together. The inclusion of the four extra leggy points for tie down is a nice touch, super handy for strapping on a dry bag.
As with any compromise, it cant be expected excel at either task, so if you’re looking for a performance board or a long distance plodder, search elsewhere. For my needs as a small day shredder and family sled, it’s been great.

I was looking for a board with a little versatility, that was light enough for me to carry on my own and looked good too.
I have been really happy with my board. I can use in on flat water anD out on the ocean.
I was even more happy with the team from GSI. They responded quickly to any of my questions and they were incredibly helpful with a few concerns i had with my local freight company during delivery. The board was shipped within days and there was real customer care throughout the entire process.

This is not the board you want for high performance shredding, which is a good thing because I’m not a high-performance shredder. I like a board that’s easy to ride, a nice stable platform from which to easily slot into waves. As a 6 foot something, slightly paunchy 110 kg bloke,my 10 foot 60:40 is easy enough to manoeuvre, cut back and top turn in waves. Most importantly, it’s built like a brick shit house and after months of heavy use it still looks like the day it was bought. Looks like I’ll be riding this till I’m too old to ride – which will be when I’m dead. As above, if you’re into vertical attacks, 360s and generally slashing and flapping about like a lunatic, this board is not for you. But if you like down the line speed, a bit of trimming and a few smooth turns and generally looking like a cool bastard then this stick is right up your alley, as it were.
