Gnaraloo Beach Cruiser surfboards provide the ultimate in fun and safety for beginner surfers. Theses boards are incredibly buoyant, stable, and easy to ride..
With an emphasis on safety and durability, the Beach Cruiser feature a thick Polyethylene deck and a soft slick skin on the bottom surface that’s tough enough to take a beating, yet is soft enough to keep beginners safe.
The secret to the performance of these boards lies within the core. An embedded plywood stringer system maintains the integrity of the rocker while providing a stiff, stable platform. This lets you paddle onto waves with minimal effort and feel confident once you’re on your feet.
These surfboards are designed to withstand the toughest of treatment, making them ideal for surf schools. The vacuum construction process eliminates hard or sharp surfaces, and prevents peeling or bubbling. A reinforced tail zone also provides added protection.
Available in a variety of sizes from 9 foot right down to 6’0″. Each board comes fitted with a convenient carry handle and an easy-to-use fin system complete with flexible thruster fin set.
Your initiation into the world of surfing starts with a Gnaraloo Beach Cruiser.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Construction
Softshell Construction
Boards with Soft Shell construction feature much more technology then the eye can see. They are a combination of materials designed to allow the board to perform to the highest levels given the constraints of the flexibility of the materials. All boards feature an integrated Fin System, 2 or 3 Wooden Stringers depending on the size of the board to ensure the board is stiff enough. A lightweight EPS core combined with a PE foam layer on the deck and a High-Density PE Slick that is mounted to a thin PE Foam layer on the bottom give the board an awesome feel in the water. Soft enough not to hurt should you fall on it but hard enough to handle the power of the waves. You can find out more about GSI’s surfboard construction on our surfboard construction page.

Best Christmas present ever! I am 96Kg 6'2" and previously had a big fibreglass Malibu which I could occasionally get up on but struggled to paddle onto waves properly - sold it. fast forward 10 years bought this board and paddled easily onto the first wave and was able to ride the third wave to the beach. Great for catching what I want - small waves and you can feel the board accelerate..
Best excuse to go to the beach ever.

These boards are perfect to learn on and play on. Easy to paddle and super stable and sturdy to stand on. They are lightweight and easy to carry, the ideal board for anyone looking to enhance their leisure time and increase their pleasure time in the water.

Absolutely psyched with the Gnaraloo, great addition to the quiver.

Bought this Nov 2019 to use as a family board. We range from experienced surfers to beginners, adults and young kids, and we all love it! Perfect for fun summer days, the volume means you can catch a ripple and it trims along the lip very nicely. Very easy to paddle and stand on for beginners but robust enough for experienced surfers to have a lot of fun on. Super soft deck great for the kids and crowded sessions with lots of people around. Light and easy to carry, especially with the in-built carry handle. Highly recommended as part of the family fun kit.

Wanted a durable all round board and have been pleased. Love the carry handle, no need for wax, and easy to ride as so much volume.

Originally purchased this board for the kids, but ended up surfing it a lot over summer as well. Can't recommend it highly enough. Heaps of float and super easy to catch waves. Ended up changing the fins out to stiffer fins, and it made quite a difference in decent surf. My brother has also just purchased one after having a go on ours.

Our Surfclub purchased two of the 9 footers. These were such a great addition to the quiver! They handle pretty well for their size, changing the soft fins to nylons was a great improvement and the boards were 10 fold more fun!

Brought this as my first board. Awesome design, easy to carry and get in the car. Had to switch it up as I had got a 7ft and ended up getting a 9ft board which is a lot easier. If you are wondering wether to size down or size up and you are learning - always size up. But this a great board and still in my line up. Would definitely recommend :)

Came across the Gnarloo board at surf school at Yallingup in WA. Its a great board for everyone to learn to surf on. The 8 footer is easy to paddle, good length, nice and stable and easy to catch waves on.
After market help from GSI was excellent. The board arrived in WA damaged, and the guys at GSI arranged for shipping back to the east coast (at their cost) and did a replacement board with no hassle or grief. Great board and great customer service.

We have been using gnaraloos with our school surf program for many years. They surf really well and are hard wearing for a great cost. Students love them and the handle. The improved fin system means less hassle if losing fins but also hard fins allow for fun summer surfing for better surfers.

The 9 footer, at 105 litres, catches near anything.
I love it on small days but the real fun starts on bigger days where you can take off early and get into bombs.
At 98 kg it means that I don’t struggle at all - if I want a second surf during the day I take out the softie and the paddle power makes it effortless.
